ok, ....so I'm at least 5kg over weight and being short 1.53 does not help matters.
I feel terrible coz my clothes don't fit and generally annoyed that I let myself get to this point.

my BIGGEST downfall is JUNK, as in something junk after supper every night....which is ridiculous to say the least.
I'm not looking for any diet plans etc, but rather just to find a way to kick the habit (it's somewhat of a faarking addiction), and then hopefully get some exercise in...

any tips/advice on how to break the habit? and health snack suggestions...

mmm - Winter months are always so difficult. Have you tried eating a piece of fruit? Making a cup of coffee?

We also have that problem!!!

What I do now is, I make muffins, nice bran ones. Then at night rather have that an hour or so after supper with a cup of tea or coffee. Also try maybe a biscuit and tea/coffee. Also try provita biscuits with some cheese or tuna.

We eat less starch at supper time. So if we have rice, we do not have potatoes. or vice versa. (Only because dh is diabetic) And he is not allowed big portions of starch.

I know the problem! I have tried now not to buy junk anymore. What I don't have I can't eat..works well apart from the moments where I then do an extra round to the next grocery store..
